In GTA V, during the mission "Hood Safari," you can notice three guys riding BMX bikes on Grove Street. This is actually a reference to the very first mission of GTA San Andreas, where CJ, Big Smoke, Ryder and Sweet escape after a bike chase. Although the characters are different in GTA V and one person is missing, it's a clear reference to the earlier game, as it takes place in the same area, and the outfits closely resemble those of the Grove Street gang.
