Description
From the ''Qinxue Rumen'' 【琴學入門】 (1864) as preserved in the ''Guqin Quji'' 【古琴曲集】 (1962).
The melody is about the Daoist idealisation of the escaping from society by becoming fishermen and woodcutters, having no care for the politics and confusion of the world and living a simple life at one with nature.
Played on a Zeng Chengwei qin called 泉音 made in 2006 with 龍人 nylon strings.
