This was my 3rd baby/3rd home birth. I had been having contractions through the night but didn't think it was actual labor. I texted my midwife that morning just a heads up that I had been having contractions all night, but I didn't think it was labor. They stopped about 7am. I had someone check me at 12pm and I was 8cm... I was only having light contractions if I would walk or climb stairs, but I felt totally fine. I went to the bathroom after she checked me, and my water broke (12:03pm). Regular contractions started shortly after. My midwife arrived just in time to unpack her things. Ivy Jane was born at 1:14pm. ❤

Tip: place good sheets on bed, plastic cover and then the cheap sheets. After you have had your baby take the cheap sheets/cover off and you have a nice clean bed for you and your baby. 🙂
