Learn how to combine notifications and quick settings in One UI 7, or how to revert to the old layout for notifications and quick settings after the Android 15 update. I'll walk you through the steps to change this setting so you can have your notifications and quick toggles displayed together again, just like before the One UI 7 update.
Learn e here to find the setting to merge notifications and quick settings and how to switch between the new separated view and the old combined view.
What to do if you can't find the option in your settings. It would be nice to know why Samsung changed this in One UI 7 and Android 15. On my Sony Xperia 1 V Android 15 keeps the notifications and quick settings panel together but Samsung decided to split the notifications panel and quick settings panel the same way iPhone works in iOS 18 with swiping down from the top right corner opens the settings panel and a swipe down anywhere else will open the notifications panel on Samsung by default after Android 15 update OneUI 7.0.
If you're looking for how to get back the old notification panel layout on your Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra or you want to know how to customize your quick settings in One UI 7, this video will show you exactly what to do. The process also works for other Samsung Galaxy models running One UI 7 with Android 15.

I believe the new way notifications are shown in OneUI 7 Android 15 is not bad but it would take some time to get used too.
I prefer them merged as I don’t have too many notifications and I really try to reduce notifications to minimize interruptions.
If you have many notifications on your Samsung phone and you need them, having the notifications on a separate panel will help organize them better also the quick settings panel has more space to show you settings and you don’t have to swipe down twice to see the full settings.
One important tip if you use the new separate notifications panel is that you can swipe left or right on the notifications and quick settings panel to switch to the other view.
You can also change the quick settings panel to show when you swipe down from top left instead of top right.
Let me know in the comments if you prefer the new separated layout or the old combined view, and whether this tutorial helped you find the setting you needed. Don't forget to like the video if it helped you solve this One UI 7 change on your Samsung phone.
