Description
It was a blast to perform FireEx's "Island's Sunrise" for House Fest 2024 on Governors Island with these five lovely ladies of the AMDA Choir and my Rad Jet band:

It was a fun challenge to sing in Taiwanese (which I do not speak one word of), and only had one day (actually 2 hours) to prepare for.
I decided to perform "Island's Sunrise" since this year marks the 10th Anniversary of the historic Sunflower Movement, as it soon became the movement's anthem and won the Golden Melody Award for Best Song of the Year in 2015.
This event was sponsored by the Taiwanese American Arts Council (TAAC), and took place outside in front of House 7B in Nolan Park.
"Island's Sunrise" was only 1 of 10 songs we performed, the other 9 were my originals.
