Description
Drum Major leading the combined Highland and Lowland Bands of the Royal Regiment of Scotland playing "It's a Long Way to Tipperary" on the march. This was on Saturday 1st July 2023 at Gordon Barracks in Aberdeen, as they took part in Beating Retreat for the 2023 Armed Forces day Veterans celebrations. This was a week later than Armed Forces day on 24th June because of the European Piping Championships that day in Aberdeen.
The Lowland and Highland Bands of the Royal Regiment of Scotland had combined for a tour at this time, performing a series of events throughout the Northeast of Scotland.
