Here is Doris Day’s second recording of "It's Magic" written in 1947 by Jule Styne, and Sammy Cahn for the 1948 film, Romance on the High Seas, starring Doris Day, and nominated for an Academy Award for Original Song. Doris’ original recording with the George Siravo orchestra from 1947 released by Columbia Records, spent 21 weeks on the Billboard chart, peaking at position #2 and selling over 1,000,000 copies. This version recorded on June 4, 1952 with Percy Faith and his Orchestra appeared on the album Hooray for Hollywood (Vol. 2) and was later included on the LP, Doris Day's Greatest Hits, released in 1958, available on CD.
