Voice Cube- A Musical Journey
As the name suggests, it is a musical endeavour by three individuals, as the core team, to bring experimental music spanning global cultures.It is a journey of blending eastern and western musical instrumentation with Indian voices, singing western and eastern "Pop and Rock".
Currently, the core vocalists are all from Kochi in Kerala, India.The Chief vocalist and instrumentalist Annson Mathew runs a music academy in Kochi. John Chiramel, the baritone-bass vocalist, who was a corporate honcho and is now a professor and Anupama Thomas is a media graduate—the common thread weaving this disparate group being their passion for music.
This remix of Harry Belafonte’s Jamaican Farewell is the first output from Voice Cube’s stable.
