In April it peaks at #1 for 2 weeks on the US R&B singles charts. His one and only Top 40 Pop album was "The Ice Man Cometh" that peaked at #29 on the US album charts on May 10th. This album would peak at #2 on the US R&B album charts and would become his biggest selling album of all time. His only other album released in 1969 titled "Ice On Ice" would become his second biggest selling album of all time and it peaked at #41 on the Pop charts and peaked at #4 on the R&B album charts.
