Walking down a lonely driveway that I’ve walked for years and years, contemplating things that have gone wrong in relationships, and doing some self-reflection. This song comes from a place of deep introspection and finding the truth of why I hurt the people I love, the ones that give me chance after chance. When I get down to the nitty gritty, and salty parts of myself it’s not always comfortable sharing my thoughts and feelings with others. When I’m able to have times of solitude to clean my wounds and grow without feeling guilty for not “being there” then I’ve had real peace and healing in my life. But it’s not always possible to break away from everything and do that, so I try to turn to creating and writing something down if possible. I’m hoping this song and melody are a blessing to you, also I hope this video calms you and brings you peace. You are not alone.
