He became famous performing french versions of well known songs from the Beatles, Chuck Berry, Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding, Los Bravos and many more. He write about 100 songs himself. Le Disque d' Or is a compilation album released in 1973 on the Philips label with a very interesting portrait of the french popstar on the front cover.
