2011年4月5日、被災地の方々に何かをしたいと考える音楽家たちが集まってロンドン郊外パインウッドスタジオで「江差追分」を収録しました。
漁師の唄を聴いていただき、ひと時の安らぎをもたらすことができれば、
また世界に向けて、少しでも救済キャンペインのお役にたてればとの思いで
レコーディングしたものです。

収益金のすべては日本赤十字社に寄付されます。

Musicians gathered at Pinewood Studio in London in a hope of "doing something for Japan".
Creating sounds with all their hearts, one music was born.

"Esashi Oiwake" is a Japanese Folk song, which has been sung by fishermen for more than 200 years.
Many brave fishermen lost their lives being swallowed by rough waves in their fishing journey.
Esashi Oiwake is a Requiem for fishermen.

We are one.
Praying for the people for their hearts soon to be filled with peace again.
We would especially like to dedicate this song to those who lost their lives at the sea and to their families.
