"Let 'Em Lie" is a song Kyle McKearney and Don Amero created to honour the children that never made it home, the survivors and families that are still effected by the intergenerational trauma caused by residential schools. It is a song of healing and empowerment for the people and a motivator to keep the conversation going.

All proceeds from the song will be donated to the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation. While neither Kyle or Don have experienced the effects first handedly, they are lending their voices as Indigenous artists in Country music to help bring awareness to the idea of reconciliation by honouring true Canadian history.
