JollyGul.com presents Shelley Murley's heart touching song "Light A Candle For Peace" which she wrote in 2008. Shelley's daughter Emily wonderfully recorded the song when she was 9 years old. Emily is a music composer in her own right today.

Every year thousands of schoolchildren around the world sing "Light A Candle For Peace" on International Day of Peace observed on September 21st.

Shelley Murley studied at the University of British Columbia and graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Music in piano performance and has a degree from Berklee School of Music. Her endeavours to bring music into the classroom has been her passion since the day she graduated from Montessori training more than twenty years ago. Shelley developed training programs for Montessori teachers to learn some of the basics of music in rhythm, instruments, composers, and music history.

JollyGul is a USA based independent not-for-profit organization with a mission to promote artists and spread the message of love, peace, tolerance and understanding through music of all genre to our global audience.
