Sean Quigley is a 17 year old musician from Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. Sean became an overnight sensation after posting his own "Pop Rock" version of the classic christmas carol "Little Drummer Boy" to YouTube in December 2011. At only 16 years old Quigley recorded himself playing all of the instruments in his basement, filmed and edited the music video and to date has gotten over 2.1 Million views worldwide.
Soon after the release of "Little Drummer Boy" Quigley was at a local shopping mall helping promote a christmas fundraiser when he met two time Grammy nominated Hip Hop artist "Fresh IE". A friendship was made instantly and Sean has been a part of multiple Canada wide tours with Fresh IE since December 2011.
Sean isn't just a musician but is very involved in charity and social justice movements. When "little Drummer Boy" and its music video where released CD's where sold under one condition, "All the money has to go to charity" said Quigley. In collaboration with a local radio station CD's where pressed and Sold out in a matter of hours. They agreement was honoured and every penny made from CD sales went to an orginization thats goal is to end homelessness and poverty in Quigley's hometown of Winnipeg.
After becoming a household name overnight Quigley says "I don't do it for fame and fortune, I make music to inspire a generation that is willing to make change in our communities all around the world. I didn't make "Little Drummer Boy" to become famous, I did it to glorify Jesus!" Quigley's faith plays a huge part in the music he writes, charity work and the positive and inspiring message.
Quigley is working hard in the studio everyday and is schedualed to release a full length album early in the new year. Quigley says "Some call them fans, but I call them FRIENDS and I have some of the best friends out there! Some are as young as 4 and others are in their 90's, I really think everyone is going to be exited to hear what I am working on!"
