That was a quick look at Lorde and I think it's safe to say that she's officially made it -- any doubts about that fact were washed away by her killer performance at the Rock N Roll hall of fame last night for the 2014 induction ceremony in Brooklyn, NY. Lorde was one of four women to take to the stage with the living members of Nirvana -- she was joined at the show by, oh no big deal, just three of the most iconic living women in rock n roll history -- one of whom was Joan Jett. Each female rocker covered one of Nirvana's classic tracks and Lorde hit the stage in a two piece pink suit to cover Nirvana's classic song "All Apologies." Here's a quick look:

Lorde, who was born two years after Curt Cobain's tragic passing, was the youngest musician to join Nirvana for the band's big night, as the group joined the ranks of other heavy weights including Kiss, Hall and Oats, by being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame -- and I should include the band did so in it's first year of eligibility. This was clearly a special experience for Lorde who tweeted out to say "so honoured and happy I got to help celebrate Nirvana's rock and roll hall of fame induction tonight." A big night for Nirvana and also for Lorde -- what did you guys think of her performance?
