Lubiana est une auteure-compositrice-interprète belge aux racines camerounaises et à la voix d’or. Son parcours musical a commencé à 8 ans avec le piano et la guitare. A 14 ans, elle est bouleversée par les voix de Nina Simone et Lauryn Hill et au début de la vingtaine, elle découvre l’instrument ouest-africain qui va changer sa vie pour toujours: la kora. Il l’a mise en contact avec ses racines et traditions africaines, et le travail du maître Toumani Diabté. Depuis, elle a utilisé cette inspiration dans sa propre musique, un mélange éclatant de pop, de soul et d’une subtile ambiance jazzy.

Lubiana is a Belgian singer-songwriter with Cameroonian roots and a golden voice. Her musical journey began at the age of 8 with the piano and the guitar. At 14, she was overwhelmed by the voices of Nina Simone and Lauryn Hill and in her early twenties, she discovered the West African instrument that would change her life forever: the kora. It put her in touch with her African roots and traditions, and the work of master Toumani Diabté. She has since used this inspiration in her own music, a dazzling mix of pop, soul and a subtle jazzy vibe.
