Tonight's Recipe for music? Transferring Live Play Rhodes and bass to home studio. You are best to record what you do best. Previously when I was producing in the home studio, I was tracking MIDI with Digital Performer. I had several tracks of live audio for trumpet melodies. I am moving toward less MIDI and more live audio played from inspiration and not pre-planned tracks. Spontaneity. I did a previous take of this with a couple of snafus. So I decided to do it again. Rhodes was not panned in stereo. Big difference. And Levels a little off. I am recording directly into Quicktime, because its audio quality has proven very good. I could extract the audio from the video, drop it into D.P. and produce it with more tracks. In the future. Right now I have the 'Vid. Shit. Cheers.
