Description
"Maathe Jada Chanda" is a simple exposition of Jaijaiwanti (the Ragini of the devi) and its divine form, expressing devotion to the divine constitution of Lord Shiva. The eminent Sanskrit pandit, and musician Pt. Vitthalrao Sardeshmukh also mentions how "Maathe Jada Chanda" brings out the whole soul of the raga and associates the bandish with Jaijaiwanti, every time he sings it.
