Before it gets a little rockier again, I covered an absolute top hit from 1984 this time.
Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone, better known by her artist name "Madonna", celebrated international number 1 success with this provocative single and the album of the same name.
The drummer was Tony Thompson, who died much too early in 2003.
The song was inducted into the “Billboard Hot 100 All-Time Top Songs” list in 2008 and is believed to be the most important song in Madonna's career.
The basis for my cover is the slightly shorter version of the song from Madonna's first greatest hits album "The Immaculate Collection", released in 1990.
