I played in full-time top-40 cover bands in the mid 1980's. It was quite grueling...six nights a week, five sets a night, 50 weeks a year. I played this song at least a thousand times back then. I recorded it just now without any practice, rehearsal or a refresher. My brain pulled it out of deep storage as if it was 1985 again. I always enjoyed playing this song because the drum part was unique. If I'm not mistaken , I think the great Dave Weckl was the drummer on the original recording.
