الصُّبْحُ بدَا مِن طَلْعَتِهِ
From his face radiates the brightness of the first light of dawn
والليلُ دَجا مِن وَفْرَتِهِ
And from the shining reflection of his generous hair emanates the calmness of the enveloping night
فاقَ الرُّسُلَ فَضْلاً وعُلا
He exceeded all the Messengers both in merit and rank
أَهْدَى السُّبُلَ لِدَلالَتِهِ
He led his people on the paths of righteousness as an enlightened guide

Inexhaustible treasure of grace, with words full of sweetness and eloquence
هَادِي الأُمَمِ لشَرِيعَتِهِ
He is the guide of all the nations towards the Sacred Law
أَزْكَى النَّسَبِ .. أَعْلَى الحَسَبِ
Of the purest descent, of the noblest distinction
هُوَ خَيرُ نَبِي في أُمَّتِهِ
The most revered of the prophets in the eyes of his Ummah Nation

سَعَت الشَّجَرُ .. نَطَقَ الحَجَرُ
Trees moved towards him, stones spoke to greet him
شُقَّ القَمَرُ بِإِشَارتِهِ
The moon was split upon a signal of his hand
جِبْرِيلُ أَتَاه لَيْلَةَ أَسْرَى
Archangel Gabriel came to him with glad tidings from Allah on the Night of Ascension [Israa’]
والرَّبُ دَعَاه لحَضْرَتِهِ
And the Lord invited him to the heavens and bestowed upon him the honour of intimacy
جِبْرِيلُ أَتَاه لَيْلَةَ أَسْرَى
Archangel Gabriel came to him with glad tidings from Allah on the Night of Ascension [Israa’]
والرَّبُ دَعَاه لحَضْرَتِهِ
And the Lord invited him to the heavens and bestowed upon him the honour of intimacy

نالَ الشَّرَفَ واللهُ عَفَا
He attained the highest honour, and Allah pardoned...
عَمَّا سَلَفَ مِن أُمَّتِهِ
All his nation’s past sins
فمُحَمَّدُنا هُوَ سَيِّدُنا
For Muhammad is our master and leader
فالعِزُّ لَنا لإِجَابتِهِ
Honour and pride are ours for accepting his call
فمُحَمَّدُنا هُوَ سَيِّدُنا
