Mama Africa is a special song I, Clarisse Karasira composed and recorded inspired by the spirit of God. It came into existence to honor African mothers who sacrifices all they can to bring children into this life and raise them to become responsible men and women in the society and above all obedient children of God. I am happy to be releasing this song as a new mother to my son Kwanda and it gives me great pleasure to honor each one of you.

Do not just listen or watch the song, think about it. digest every word, close your eyes and remember all the sweat your mother went through to have you and decide to respect her.

If you are a mother and you feel like giving up, please do not. You are strong and capable to raise your children with values and vision.
It is my hope and prayer that all women see themselves in the song and feel encouraged to press forward to this hard endeavor of motherhood.
