A loving song sung and shared in gratitude to the spirit of Cacao, to this loving medicine and the ways it opens our hearts to pure love, joy and unity.
Many songs are sung for love, inspired by life and by nature. Other songs especially in ancestral and shamanic practices and in medicine music are sung especially for the plants. Many of our ancestors were animists and understood that everything is alive and has a spirit. The plants are understood as teachers and powerful healers and unifiers. Societies disconnection from such consciosness means that many plants have been miss understood and miss used. It is good to see shifts in this as well as continued room for greater awareness.
It has been beautiful for Nicola and Kirsty to connect with the cacao plant over the years, to be reintroduced to it in this sacred way. And to sit with the elders of the Mayan lineages, as well as carriers of different teachings, along side those connecting intuitively to the plant from their local lands. We are thankful for the many gatherings with family sharing in the joy of this plant and the opening it offers to the Heart with so many blessings. We sing this song in thanks for the strengthening of community, of common-unity and upliftment with the medicine of music and cacao.
