This is the Promo Only Clean Edit Remix of M.I.A.'s 2008 single, "Paper Planes", which also features rapper 50 Cent. Produced and co-written by Diplo, it features an interpolation of The Clash's 1982 song, "Straight To Hell". The song was featured in the 2008 film, "Slumdog Millionaire", as well as its accompanying soundtrack album. The song was also used for the trailer of the 2008 film, "Pineapple Express", but was never in neither the film nor the soundtrack (how disappointing!).

"Paper Planes" was a major hit for the British rapper/singer, reaching the Top 10 in the Czech Republic (#4), Croatia (#6), and Canada (#7). The song also reached #18 in both Belgium and Denmark, #23 in Ireland, #51 in Austria, #57 in the Netherlands, #66 in Australia, #76 in Germany, and #91 in France.

In the US, "Paper Planes" reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 (#4), the Billboard Rhythmic (#3), the Billboard Hot Rap Songs (#6), and the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 (#10) charts. The song also reached the Top 20 on both the Billboard Alternative Airplay (#12) and the Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay (#13) charts, in addition to making it to #36 Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

In the UK, "Paper Planes" reached the #1 position on the UK R&B chart and #19 on the UK Singles chart.
