This song was a poem that I had cooking in the back of my head for a long time, but had never really fleshed out. When Costco dropped the Polish dog from its menu, I was definitely heartbroken. A little healthier than before, but still sad.

At first, I was trying to get an almost barbershop quartet feel to this. But as I went through different attempts of getting this to feel right, I found creating something that felt like an old commercial turned out to be even more fun.
