Misty was originally composed by Erroll Garner in 1954. Lyrics were added later by Johnny Burke, and Sarah Vaughan recorded the song in 1958.
Johnny Mathis recorded the song in 1959 and made it his own.
This is a song my Aunty Mollie loved. Johnny Mathis was her favourite singer.
We listened to Johnny Mathis on YouTube a few months ago together.
