Description
Hi all,
Haven't uploaded anything in a loooong time, I know. This video & song is dedicated to my mom on Mother's Day...happy Mother's Day mom! :-)
This is Sonny Chillingworth's song Moe 'Uhane (aka, Dream Slack Key). Story goes that this song came to Mr. Chillingworth in a dream and he woke up and started playing it, hence the title. Boy I wish I had dreams like that... Anyways, this is my take on this beautiful song. I took some liberty with the intro and outro and other parts & added my own stuff. Please excuse the small kine manini mistakes I made playing this song. Been playing this for a solid year and still can get close to playing this perfect. Also, please excuse the slightly "amped up" way I'm playing...I drank some strong coffee before recording this and I can hear a lot of sloppy parts in my playing! :-)
The video is by JcmdiStockFootage. Check out their youtube channel for more footage like this. Pretty unreal trippy stuff huh? The music is NOT by Technician. JcmdiStockFootage is cool in that they allow people to use their footage for non-profit stuff, but ask that the credits be included. Also if there is any advertisement in the beginning that is also part of the agreement for using the video footage.
For Guitarheads: Guitar is an Ibanez Koa EW20KOENT which is the same guitar I used for the Silent Night video. Since then I changed out the bridge and the tone is much much better, but I also need to get a new nut at some point. The previous owner filed the nut slots a little too low. Recording hardware and software is the same as in the other videos. You can check them to see what I used only I plugged the guitar in directly this time and didn't use a mic.
For you computerheads: To download the timelapse footage I used aTubeCatcher & to edit the video I used AVS Video Editor. AVS is pretty good for simple stuff. I gave up on Windows Movie Maker...too buggy, but would you expect anything less from MS that's free?
