Moments In The Sun - Reaching out to a friend to find the good in the world with a synth and guitar playing intertwining leads. The opening guitar line before the song kicks in recalls the simple guitar lines of The Clean and The Chills, especially “Pink Frost” without copying those bands. I see friends on social media reaching out to make sense of the world, dealing with difficult issues and being overwhelmed. It is a lofty goal, but sometimes a melancholy song of hope can soothe the troubled mind.
