Kisah ini merupakan asal-usul tokoh fiksi Mr. Kwang, yang diciptakan oleh Meiliana Tjiu sebagai tugas akhir strata 1 Program Studi Desain Komunikasi Visual, Universitas Tarumanagara, Jakarta, dalam bentuk board game berjudul "Mr. Kwang and the Pond of Virtue".
