The CH-46E Sea Knight helicopter has been used in the United States Marine Corp for almost 50 years now, providing exceptional capabilities as a part of the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) from troop transport to assault support, this aircraft has truly made its mark in the history of Marine Corps Aviation. However, with the constant progression in technology and the needs of a more expeditious Marine Corps, we find the PHROGs legacy coming to its conclusion. Although there are many opposing the new Ospreys, they must admit that this new aircraft is one addition to the MAGTF that an expeditionary force cannot resist.
