I didn’t have a girlfriend when we graduated high school and started touring in 95’. But I met someone on one of our first trips down to Southern California. So, we skipped school and flew down on a Friday in the spring of 95’.

Long story short, we dated a while, and I was always on tour. The only time I saw her was when I was on tour! Anyway, she eventually flew the coup. We broke up amicably and stayed friends, but I wrote this song about that experience. Good memories, but I’m glad we broke up because I’m happy where I am now!!!
