Description
Back when we were working on putting out Life In General, Mike had an aversion to naming the album after a song *Cough - Pokinatcha - Cough - Teenage Politics - Cough* as he thought it meant that the title track was THE BEST song on the record. We really liked the name Life In General for the album title, but that was the name of one of the songs on the record.
One day while we were trying to come up with another name for the song Life In General, I remembered growing up and watching the TV show The Wonder Years. It was a show about growing up and figuring out who you were that resonated with me as a kid. So I just blurted out “What about calling it The Wonder Years?”
The rest, as they say, is history…

Lyrics:
I don't understand what's going on in my life these days
Everything upside down turned around
Won't waste my life, no way... no way
And I don't know why
I can't see clearly
I can't think 'cause it's too early
So many doubts frequent my mind
All the time
Our lives in general are one in the same,
But there's variations
Our lives in general are one in the same
But there's difference of opinion
I don't understand what's going on in my life these days
Everything upside down turned around
Won't waste my life, no way
Our lives in general are one in the same,
But there's variations
Our lives in general are one in the same
Difference of opinion
In my younger years, I used to be so free
But I don't know what's happening to me
We all know by now that time's the enemy
It controls us, tells us where to be
Don't know, don't care
If you need me I'll be right here
