The ultimate Cloverworks trio of romance has just begun this saturday! I'm extremely excited to be watching this triple dose of diabetes wholesomeness and bringing you covers from all of them. We'll start with what I assume is the most popular one: My Dress Up Darling, where spira spica returns with another extremely upbeat and 'youth' feeling OP. The good vibes only really came through when I was arranging it and so I had a lot of fun recording it!

This arrangement is fairly standard as far as anisongs covers go, but I always love to throw in small details to keep it more interesting, so here are a few to point out:
1. The main chorus has a nice call and response motif (first heard in the intro at 0:03), I make sure to highlight this every time with the different registers.
2. During the instrumental (0:08) the lead guitar line is exchanged in the middle voice between the two hand, keeping the texture interesting.
3. 3 random bars of 3/4 in the prechorus at (0:32) changes up the pulse before building up with a ascending synth flourish at (0:41) into the chorus
4. Lead guitar 'earworms' at 0:54 and 1:05 to fill in the space in between the vocals.
5. At 2:21 the dynamic drops out for the bridge section, and I move the melody to the middle voice to free up the right hand for more decorations in the higher register. It serves as a good contrast to the fuller sounding choruses. The hands switch back at 2:33 to let the bass line rebuild the tension towards the chorus, interspersed with high octaves for decoration from the original instrumental.
6. Final chorus starts with some big chord stabs at 2:45 before re-establishing the groove again, for more dramatic effect :D
