Opening part: the bass part is played with your middle finger on the fifth fret of the low E string. For the melody, start with your pinky on the 7th fret of the B string, then move down two frets and use your ring finger instead, then move down three frets and use your index finger, next note is an open B, followed by open G & D. Play this three times, then on the fourth time you play it, you’re gonna do a hammer on followed by a pull off using your index finger on the second fret of the B string. From there, instead of using your middle finger on the fifth fret low E as the bass note, you’re just gonna do an open low E instead. For the melody, start with a slide on the second fret of the D string then go up to the fourth fret, followed by an open B, back to the fourth fret D string, then back to open B, then play another open B, then back to the fourth fret D string, then slide back down two frets on the D string, play second fret D once more, then again, followed by a slide back up to the fourth fret D string, then an open B, followed by your middle finger on the fifth fret of the G string, then an open high E, then an index finger on the second fret of the high E, slide up two frets, slide up again but this time three frets, then your pinky goes on the ninth fret of the B string, then move it down two frets.
