Description
British Canadian Nick Gilder is best known for his 1978 world wide smash "Hot Child in the City", but he also scored hits downunder with "You really rock me" and this 1977 #29 "Roxy Roller". From Gilder's 77 LP "You know who you are", the song was originally recorded and released under his band's name Sweeney Todd the year before and was a #1 hit in Canada. Gilder continues to write, perform and tour. He provided a co-write for Scandal's "The Warrior" in 1984, as well as tracks for Bette Midler, Pat Benatar and Joe Cocker among others.
