"This mix was inspired by a recent trip, during which Rintaro drove south through the French Alps, down to the currents of Lake Geneva.
Every day for a fortnight, he searched for records in different cities, then retreated to the mountains in the evenings to sleep under the stars.
The sounds of this mix aim to capture the essence of Rintaro’s journey, through the eclectic sounds of the mountains."

今回のミックスはRintaro Sekizuka (VDS)自身がフランスアルプスを南下し、ジュネーブ湖に向かって旅をした経験から生み出されました。
2週間にわたり各地を巡り、レコードを探し求めた日々。そして、夜には山に戻り、星空の下で眠る――そんな自然と人々との出会いが織りなす旅を、音楽で表現しました。

Rintaro Sekizuka (VDS)

Rintaro founded VDS in 2018 and has shared his musical selections on various streaming radio shows, clubs and bars in Tokyo and Europe. He opened a physical branch in London in 2021 at the Idle Moments shop - in collaboration with the team behind Brilliant Corners and Giant Steps.
Looking ahead to 2024, he is opening a VDS Tokyo within SKAC (SKWAT KAMEARI ART CENTRE) in East Tokyo. The space will not only serve as a record store but also as a cultural hub for sharing ideas, music, and passion across borders.

2018年にVDSを設立し、東京やヨーロッパのさまざまなストリーミングラジオ番組、クラブ、バーで音楽のセレクションに携わる。2021年には、Brilliant CornersやGiant Stepsのチームと協力し、ロンドンのIdle Momentsショップ内にVDSの実店舗をオープン。
2024年には、東東京のSKAC（SKWAT KAMEARI ART CENTRE）内にVDS Tokyoをオープン予定。このスペースはレコード店としてだけでなく、国境を越えてアイデア、音楽、音楽を愛する人々の情熱を共有する文化的なハブとしても機能する予定。
