Translated from one of Rabindranath Tagore’s very famous works “Gitanjali” by the legendary lyricist Gulzar Saab and sung by the versatile Shaan, Main Ghoomta Hoon is a song about soul searching. Such is the desperation of the search that the poet compares it to a deer who is lost in his own fragrance. Gulzar Saab’s voice sets the narrative. With the elegance of Tagore’s poetry weaved into lyrics by Gulzar Saab and Shantanu Moitra’s music, complimented by Shaan’s versatile voices, this song is a true labour of love and an attempt to bring to life The Great Sentinel Rabindranath Tagore’s greatness.
