I’m practicing for a tribute project.
On the studio version, the bass was played by Bob Daisley; the iconic bass line was written by Mike Inez. I made a shortened version without the instrumental interlude, going straight into the guitar solo.
Gear / signal chain: Fender Jazz Bass Deluxe V → MXR Bass Compressor → MXR Bass D.I.+ → Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 → Reaper (+ few VSTs).
Tuning: (A#–Eb–G#–C#–F#).
