I take my paintbox and I paint the grey sky blue
Because that is the only colour that is true
Sometimes I wish that I could do the same to you
I’d take your dark moods and I’d paint them in a friendly hue. In a friendly hue

The world is full of colours if we let it be,
our minds are full of colours too
We are created to be happy in our life,
to celebrate each day anew

But dark clouds paint the blue skies dull and grey,
and our minds are darkened too
And suddenly the world looks drab and without joy.
That’s why I have so much to do.
