Day 1805, Puerto Escondido, Mexico
In Puerto Escondido, a small port on the Pacific coast of Mexico, I was staying at a small hotel San Agustin during the local "Fiestas de Noviembre" celebrations and every morning at 8 a.m., I was woken up by somebody singing songs in a drunken voice. One morning, I went to the reception desk and asked, which hotel guest is disturbing everybody with his songs. They answered that I was the only guest in the hotel and brought me to Rodrigo, an incredible singing parrot. His owner was a young chambermaid, who used to sing while she was cleaning hotel rooms. Rodrigo listened to her for years and remembered her songs. Enjoy his performance!
