I actually need to hear my own message today. I am sick as a dog at home. Negative Covid test so that is nice, but so very much restlessness at the moment. My guitar has been returned to me after an overseas airlines mishap but I just have not felt the same since. It's good to be home, and I have a lot to be grateful for, so on this Tim Tuesday I present to you a song I have recorded so very many different ways. It's a mantra of sorts, and I enjoy playing it. I have committed to re-recording each song on the new album in a vertical acoustic video to show how I played the parts. I skipped last week because I was simply devastated at the guitar being gone, and dropped a different video. Now, I am somewhat back on track but far from perfect. It's just good to be able to play right now, because some very dark thoughts passed through my mind when I thought my guitar was never coming back. I am trying to learn the lesson from this--something more than putting a tracking devise in the guitar--and I'll let you know what I find out. Right now, I'm just saying "no" to a lot of things, shows, tours...I want to contribute something different with my art in 2022.
