Roger Waters is such a fantastic bassplayer! He plays long notes in the Chorus and a fantastic rhythmic groove in the Verse. This grooves is a groove in itself but it also plays notes of the leading vocals and plays along with the drums. Very musical in my opinion!
Like in ‘Wish you were here’ (see my other Pink Floyd basscover) Roger uses the short (staccato) notes in a fantasic way (marked with a dot in the transcription). It really makes a difference!
