This 1980 hit climbed all european charts, selling two and a half million copies. It is one of the very only Italian language songs that topped the uk charts, the only other case at the time being Modugno's 'Nel Blu Dipinto di Blu". The song successfully mixes funky and dance rhytms, thanks to Enrico Intra's arrangements. D'Angiò was the only Italian artist present at the funky tribute recorded in france.
Questo brano del 1980 ha scalato tutte le classifiche europee, vendendo in un anno due milioni e mezzo di copie. In Inghilterra è quasi l'unico brano in lingua italiana a scalare le classifiche (prima di allora era successo solo con 'Nel Blu Dipinto di Blu' di Modugno. Il brano mescola funky e dance, grazie ai riusciti arrangiamenti di Enrico Intra. Unico Italiano presente nel tributo al funk registrato in francia.
