Singers from Concordia Choral Arts challenged themselves to learn "Prayer of the Children" (Kurt Bester/arr. Andrea Klouse) in just one rehearsal as a response to the school shooting in Parkland, FL on 2/14/18. Inspired by Leonard Bernstein's iconic words, "This will be our reply to violence: to make music more intensely, more beautifully, and more devotedly than ever before," we present our humble performance in memory of the lives lost, as well as in support of every child who has been impacted by the trauma of gun violence.
