Description
We had no idea what we were walking into with this one… but damn PRESIDENT just made a serious impression.
This is our first time reacting to PRESIDENT and their emotionally charged track Rage, and let’s just say — we felt every second of it. From the haunting lyrics to the soaring chorus and crushing dynamics, this song had us wide-eyed, jaw-dropped, and completely in our feelings.
The line "Will you hold me when I'm in the ground?" hit like a freight train. There's something about the way PRESIDENT blend vulnerability with sonic aggression that makes Rage feel raw, cathartic, and unforgettable. It's got this blend of post-hardcore, alt-metal, and grunge that scratches all the right itches.
Ali was frozen for parts of it. I was just trying to process it all. We had goosebumps.
Let us know what you thought of the track — and if PRESIDENT should be on every heavy music playlist going forward. Because after this? They’re on ours.
🔥 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more couple reactions to new metal, post-hardcore, and whatever else melts our faces.
