Description
Romance de los pinos (Montemayor) - Federico Moreno Torroba - performed by Daniel Bronziet
Guitar: Mario Aracama - Cedar/Indian Rosewood (2011)
Montemayor also known as Romance de los Pinos," meaning "Romance of the Pines," is a well-known musical piece for solo guitar composed by Federico Moreno Torroba. It is part of his collection, "Castles of Spain," and is known for its romantic, pastoral feel, evoking images of pine trees and the Spanish countryside.
The piece was once again recorded recently at Rokit Studios in West London. The recording and video engineering was excellently done by my friend Mark Rose.
For this recording I used my favourite guitar made by my friend the very talented luthier Mario Aracama. It was Mario's Concert Guitar model made in 2011. It has a cedar top, indian rosewood back and sides, and was made in Granada, Spain. The guitar was recently serviced/set up by my friend the fine luthier Mike Walker. He does all his work for the charity Crisis and is a true gentleman.
My business website is: www.danielbronziet.com (Currently being updated as I release my new videos).
I am currently teaching guitar in schools around running a successful private guitar teaching practice. I have performed at weddings, events and private parties. I also compose music. Aside from my classical guitar/world music - I am a singer-songwriter and I have released 2 ep’s available on Apple Music/Spotify/my other YouTube channel/other outlets. I am based in Essex, UK.
I hope you enjoy the music. If you do please like this video and subscribe to my channels. I have lots of videos already recorded that will be uploaded weekly/Sundays on YouTube, Facebook, other social media etc. I appreciate every one of you that has subscribed to me, and everyone that listens to my music. Please do leave a comment and I will endeavour to read all of them.
Best wishes
Daniel
