Fifteen South Korean businessmen with factories at the inter-Korean Kaesong Industrial Complex are heading to the zone this morning for a meeting with some North Korean representatives.
An official from Seoul′s foreign ministry says the businessmen plan to discuss North Korea′s recent decision to unilaterally raise workers′ wages and call for a solution to the issue.
This follows the North′s notification that it wanted to hold a briefing session on their revised labor regulation.
The South Korean government told the more than 120 company heads on Tuesday that they should not comply with the North′s unilateral decision on wages.
