In this video, I share the inspiration behind my new single, Sacred Stillness.

I began composing Sacred Stillness in early May 2020. A time when nature in many parts of the world was feeling a profound quiet and stillness as a result of human inactivity.

Remarkable stories started emerging of wildlife wandering into deserted towns, clear and calm waterways in Venice, Pelicans wandering the streets near Buckingham Palace to name just a few stories.

For me, this was a precious gift of time to do what I love the most - be still and compose. It’s a comfortable feeling that goes beyond active thought to a state of flow, where the psychic noise and self imposed responsibilities of everyday life evaporate.

I felt a renewed focus and inspiration and was ready to sow the seeds of ‘Sacred Stillness’ My hope is that this state of being lives in the music for you to enjoy. To come full circle so to speak!
