On April 16, 2023, Farhang Foundation and the Alex Theatre Performing Arts Center of Glendale presented ZAN: VOICES OF FREEDOM, an incredible night celebrating the young female voices of Iran. SHARGHIYE GHAMGIN is a beloved song that was originally performed by the legendary Fereydoun Farrokhzad, and it was one of the memorable highlight performances of the evening, featuring the voices of Niaz Nawab, Golazin, and Gelareh Sheibani who joined forces in their first ever Los Angeles performance for this electrifying rendition of the classic.
